Always Fresh, Never Frozen Cupcakes
Each order is made fresh from scratch in my home kitchen, no box mix, pre-made batters or frostings! The joy I get from knowing people enjoy my cupcakes, makes the late nights, failed recipes and the kitchen messes totally worth it! I hope to have the opportunity to bake for you very soon!
Who am I?
My name is Dominique (Nikki) Rosenberg. I am a self taught baker in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2015, I started my cupcake business (formerly DCS Cupcakes, LLC.) by renting out a commercial kitchen in Greendale, Wisconsin. I participated in Farmer's Markets, took weekly orders and sold my cupcakes weekly at a local wine bar and coffee shop, all while working full-time. Years later and many lessons learned, I've created something that is more managable for myself and my family. I have started taking orders out of my home kitchen operating under Wisconsin Cottage Food Laws. This allows me to continue to do what I love, while having a little more balance.
In 2017, I advocated for Wisconsin's "Cookie Bill." This bill would allow Wisconsin home bakers to legally sell baked goods out of their homes, which was illegal until a Wisconsin Judge declared it unconstitutional. Now, Wisconsin home bakers can legally bake out of their homes with regulations. For a lot of bakers, this was a game changer. For me, it was what I wanted all along.
